Dear FRES Community,
As the year comes to an end (a day earlier than expected), we have a lot to be grateful for at Forest Ridge. The FRES Community is absolutely the best! This was especially evident this week when we had an emergency road closure and had to alter our normal dismissal procedures. We all worked together and we cannot thank you enough for the support from you as we worked to ensure that all students arrived home safely. In addition, we were able to make gingerbread houses with our kindergartners and first graders. They had a blast and were so proud of their final products. We are also so grateful for our amazing staff. They work tirelessly every day to enrich each of our students.
As we move into Winter Break, we just wanted to wish everyone a very happy holiday season and a great new year. We look forward to a great 2023 and are so excited to watch our students grow and learn. Please take a moment to enjoy time with family and friends and we will see you all in 2023.
Stay safe and healthy,
Mr. Conroy and Ms. Pazornik
We are starting a community support group at school, called Feathers for Families! Here are ways you can help ALL YEAR ‘ROUND:

Don't Forget to Dress for the Weather
The temperatures are getting colder. Please be sure your child is dressed warm enough for outdoor recess every day. This includes coats, gloves, and hats. Consider labeling your child's belongings as we already have many items in lost and found. Please note that students will be outside for recess when the temperature combined with the wind chill is not less than 20 degrees Fahrenheit. You can read more about weather guidelines/recess in the HCPSS Student Handbook under Student Health and Well-Being.
